ASO writing utility

ASO description and metadata checker

Paste your Apple App Store or Google Play draft to check documented field limits, repeated terms and common formatting issues. Your copy stays in this browser.

Your working inputs stay in this browser. Anonymous site analytics may record tool actions, never your values.

iOS keyword workspace

Remove empty entries, spaces around commas and repeated whole entries. Phrase order stays as you wrote it. Edit priorities yourself; no demand or ranking score is inferred.

Cleanup preview (0/100 bytes): Enter keywords above.

Nothing is cut to fit automatically. Review cross-field repetition and keep the most relevant terms within 100 bytes.

Occurrence means normalized words found in the listed fields, not search eligibility. Description occurrence is not evidence of iOS keyword indexing. Character counts use visible grapheme clusters; confirm complex Unicode in the store console.

Review my iOS metadata

This checker does not measure keyword demand, predict ranking, review trademarks, or guarantee approval.

How to read the result

Mechanical checks catch field length, delimiters and exact repetition. Editorial flags identify text worth reading again; they are not algorithm rules.

Apple and Google Play index and display different fields. A clean draft still needs audience, keyword-demand, localization, policy and conversion review.

Worked example

Suppose your app name is “Habit Tracker” and the keyword field is “habit, focus, focus,”. The review flags cross-field repetition, repeated entries, comma spacing and an empty entry. Cleanup proposes “habit, focus”; you still decide whether “habit” deserves space. No term is removed merely because the tool considers it low value.

Definitions and method

iOS keyword usage is measured in UTF-8 bytes against a 100-byte budget. Other fields show visible grapheme counts, with store-console verification advised for complex Unicode. Occurrence matches normalized word sequences within each active field. A description match does not establish App Store keyword indexing.

Common questions

Does this tool perform keyword research?
No. It checks your own draft and terms locally. Demand, competition, intent and trademark review require separate research.
Can I clean the iOS keyword field automatically?
Preview and apply removal of empty entries, surrounding comma spaces and duplicate whole entries. The workspace preserves phrase order and never silently truncates keywords.
Why can character and byte counts differ?
Many non-Latin characters use multiple UTF-8 bytes. A short-looking keyword list can exceed the byte budget even when it has fewer than 100 visible characters.
