App-store creative utility
Validate and resize app-store screenshots
Inspect up to 10 screenshots locally, compare their dimensions with current Apple and Google Play rules, then create a reviewed crop or contain export pack.
Your working inputs stay in this browser. Anonymous site analytics may record tool actions, never your values.
Inspect and preview screenshots
Up to 10 files, 20 MB and 32 MP each. WebP is accepted as source material; exports are opaque PNGs. Large batches may need a desktop browser.
| File | Dimensions | Apple family (checked subset) | Google phone range/ratio | Source format/alpha | Selected export |

Preview uses a reduced source with the same crop/padding geometry as export. Inspect full-resolution downloads for detail. Apple status covers the three listed families, not every device. A family match does not certify the depicted device. Google phone dimensions alone do not establish upload or promotional eligibility; content and required screenshot counts still need review.
How to read the result
Apple accepts specific pixel dimensions for each device family. Google Play accepts a wider range but applies size, aspect-ratio, format and content requirements. This tool checks a useful subset and cites the official rules below.
Resizing changes dimensions only. It cannot restore missing detail, certify that a screenshot represents the correct device, or confirm policy compliance. Apple currently accepts one to ten screenshots and disallows transparency.

Worked example
An iPad 2064×2752 source matches the checked iPad 13-inch family. Selecting a 1320×2868 iPhone export changes the composition: fit adds padding and crop removes edges. The preview shows that change, but it cannot establish that an iPad screen depicts an authentic iPhone interface.
Definitions and method
Apple checks cover selected 6.9-inch, 6.5-inch and 13-inch families. Google phone checks use the documented 320–3840px range and a longest side no more than twice the shortest side. Source format and transparency are reported separately. The exported PNG is opaque.
Common questions
- Does a dimension match mean store approval?
- No. Device family, content, localization, file format and current store policy still matter. The dimension table is not a compliance certificate.
- Can I upload WebP?
- Yes, as source material for local processing. The tool converts it to PNG for export; this does not mean WebP is an accepted store screenshot format.
- How many screenshots should I prepare?
- Apple allows one to ten screenshots. Google phone listing and promotional recommendations have different minimums. Check the official guidance for your device type and intended placement.
